Thea is best known for her portrayal of Lindsay Peterson on the landmark Showtime series Queer as Folk (ACTRA Award nomination, Outstanding Performance by a Female) and has enjoyed a loyal following as Diana Childs in the campy TV drama Dante’s Cove.

She’s currently experiencing strong notices for her starring role in the dramatic film Mulligans, and will next be seen in the Sci-Fi Channel series Riverworld, starring opposite Alan Cumming and Tahmoh Penikett. Thea also appeared in Swap (Leo Award nomination for Best Actress); and Eighteen (with Sir Ian McKellen, in which she sang the Genie Award-nominated theme song).

Thea was awarded the 2002 Golden Sheaf award for Best Actress for her work on Bliss: Nina’s Muse, and the 2005 Leo Award for her work on The Collector: The Mother.
